Junior Playing and Club Privileges

The Bluenose Golf Club bylaws (November 2004):
Junior member: a member aged 6 – 18 years of age. This member has restricted playing privileges, no voting privileges and may have restricted club premises privileges. The playing privileges and the club privileges shall be determined from time to time by the Board and may vary for different age groups with the Junior category.
Junior Playing Privileges:
1. All Juniors may play golf throughout the season ;
A. On weekdays before 4:00 PM
B. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays after 4:00 PM
C. During Junior mornings or other specifically designated Junior times.
2. Additional Playing Times:
Juniors may be permitted to play on weekdays after 4:00 PM or on weekends before 4:00 PM, subject to the sole discretion of the golf shop staff, if the course is not too busy and taking into account the skill level of the Junior.
Juniors age 6 – 7 years must be accompanied at all times on the course, at clinics, and in the clubhouse by an adult who takes responsibility for the Junior.
There are no playing restrictions during the school summer break for a Junior age 14 or older who has full-time summer employment (minimum 32 hours/week).
5. Pace of Play:
All players are expected to keep up the pace of play and to pick up the ball after 10 strokes on any hole.
